We are happy to be part of the ICP Triennial with a selection of 12 hard copy editions! Every three years, ICP’s curators round up some of the most interesting contemporary photography and video works from around the world. The 2013 Triennial, A Different Kind of Order, focuses on artworks created in our current moment of widespread economic, social, and political instability. The exhibition will include 28 international artists who employ photography, film, video, and interactive media. Many of their works reflect the growing importance of new paradigms associated with digital image making and network culture. A Different Kind of Order is organized by Kristen Lubben, Christopher Phillips, Carol Squiers, and Joanna Lehan.

'The Future of Artist Books' is a series of talks, workshops and events aiming to present the most innovative publishing projects by artists and designer's working with photography, text, printed matter and e-publishing. The artist book is a medium central to contemporary artistic practice. The artists / publishers will present their recent editions, and discuss new modes of production, collaborative practices and distribution, from print on demand, serial editions to education projects, as well as their economical models.
Taking the occasion of the first retrospective exhibition of ‘The Dutch Photobook’ currently on view at the Fotomuseum in Rotterdam, this evening will focus on emerging practices in photo books in the Netherlands and internationally. The guest’s editions will be presented at PrintRoom for a month.
The Future of Artist Books is a transdisciplinary project will include talks, workshops and presentations. It is a collaboration between PrintRoom and the Amsterdam Art/Book Fair and other venues. Upcoming guests are Anouk Kruithof, Laurence Aërteger, And Publishers, and more.

First edition of a yearly event dedicated to students publications, this year will be an experimental, reflexive and prospective one – engaging students, teachers and professionals in public discussions and round tables dedicated to making and thinking editorial practices today.
Hard copy is an innovative research and publishing platform that aims to reflect on artist books and printmaking, central to emerging artistic, editorial and design practices. Initiated in 2009 by artist, curator and tutor Delphine Bedel, this three-year theory and practice-based project is conceived for the Master of Fine Arts WORK.MASTER at the Geneva University of Art and Design.
Hard Copy explore the space of a book and formats of display, extended printing techniques, graphic design and typographic researches. By publishing artist books and multiples and curating exhibitions, seminars and lectures series with keynote speakers (Seth Siegelaub, Daniel McClean, Dexter Sinister, etc), Hard Copy aims to contextualise and expand this research historically and theoretically.
